I got these pictures of Tia Hwang by watching Chocolat’s music video. I made my own screencaps and then picked these two cause I liked them. So please don’t sue me. Okay, for those of you who missed the explanation the first time, now you can learn why I have this constant obsession with having long or dyed hair. Also, I don’t even keep my hair that long, but you people keep yelling at me that it’s so super long and that it needs to chopped off urgently cause it’s cascading down my shoulders.

If I have to ask you to be open minded enough to understand why there are actually more options in this world than a bi-weekly buzzcut, then clearly we will never get along, cause you won’t stand to hear me talk about our local hairstylists who have very good technique and skill and how they are deserving of some of our support.

So anyway, since everyone keeps telling me I look young, when what they should be saying is I look very young for my age, I feel pressured by all the people who are my age who wear coloured contacts, have multi-toned dyes, multi-pierced ears, and the occasional tattoo on the ankle. In other words, people my age have freedom. I’m not in kindergarten anymore, so why should I dress like I still am? Don’t people realise that me having an unsuspecting appearance coupled with my meek personality is what will result in people coming to me, tricking me, manipulating me, and stepping on me?! I don’t understand why I have to be so generic, like i’m everyone’s blank canvas. It’s too late, i’m not this inchoate tractable person you can make into whatever you want. I’m already the person that I am. Stop telling me what my taste is and what I want. I’m not a multifaceted model actor that can adapt to any role that your particular clique wants me to fill. I have only my own colours, i’m not a chameleon. There is only one facet of my personality, and that is me. I don’t change according to what suits the situation. Did you know that some/most people call that being a hypocrite? When people see that I have dip-dyed ombre with pink tips, you’ll see that i’ve made my choice on what I want to be, and no one can underestimate me as someone who’s trapped in their insecure highschool phase and should be taken advantage of. Especially those who are younger than me (usually it’s by a year or 2) and condescendingly order me around simply because they feel their social status entitles them to.
